E.G. Kraft
Egor George Kraft, or (Egy / 映治), is an artist, thinker, and critical designer living a mobile life, with studios in Tokyo (東京) and Vienna, as well as deep ties to London and Berlin. His multi-award-winning work has been exhibited in museums, galleries, and festivals worldwide. He is a lecturer at European and Asian universities, author of publications, and speaker at international conferences.
Kraft’s work acknowledges the disrupted modern condition as a consequence of radical techno-cultural planetary reconfiguration, urging a rethink of our role and agency in relation to autonomy, interdependence, and value models. Research-informed outcomes of his often strategic practice are aimed at addressing these issues and articulating notions that demand new vocabulary and new sociotechnical imaginaries.
